As we anticipate an active 2024 for Poetry X Hunger, please take 3-4 minutes to appreciate T. A. Niles' summary of the fine work undertaken by Poetry X Hunger poets in 2023.  See his picture and the links to his summary below.

A couple of key highlights from his notes include --
* Fundraising.  Counting activities in late 2022, Poetry X Hunger poets raised more than $10,000 for anti-hunger organizations, including Feed the Children, Roots for Life and Seed Programs International.
* Outreach.  A widely aired Public Service Announcement produced by Feed the Children showcased a poem by Poetry X Hunger poet, Josephine LoRe.

Here are links to T. A.'s summary --

Santa and Hiram Larew sold $600+ of Larew's poetry at Holiday Markets and during a private sale.  All of those proceeds were then donated to the Anne Arundel County (Maryland, USA) Food Bank.  So yes, Poetry can be turned into Food!
