Singer, Songwriter and Composer, Warwick Jones from the UK has set Hiram Larew's poem, Bread in Hand to music. Written during the pandemic as an homage to all food providers, the poem's message is amplified by and "enjoys" Mr. Jones' music. Have a listen to the 5-minute recording!
"Using Poetry in Extension/Outreach Programs? Really??!!??"
Here's the 60-minute recording of Program Center Stage's webinar, hosted by the Extension Foundation, and co-led by Hiram Larew and Dave Myers. We visit with several Extension specialists about using poetry, yes, poetry! in extension outreach activities.
The session's message:
Need help reaching your learners? Try poetry! It's fun.
