Poetry X Hunger poet, Faith Nelson, organized the Tamarind Festival of Caribbean and Diaspora Authors in Hyattsville, MD on May 24, 2025. During the event, she recognized Poetry X Hunger and its work to alleviate hunger using the power of poetry. Several on-the-spot donations were made to Poetry X Hunger.
